Sassy came to us as a stray in early May and was never reclaimed by an owner. After a few days in our care, she was involved in a minor bite incidents here at WCAS. A visitor had opened her enclosure and reached out to allow Sassy to smell him and she bit their pinky. The visitor shared that after that occurred, another person wanting to visit with Sassy was able to pet her without issue immediately following the incident.
Our team has spent some time with Sassy and determined that she's now ready to be available for adoption. Interested in meeting with Sassy? She can't wait to meet you, so come to the shelter during our open hours and meet Sassy and other pets ready to find new homes.
Due to Sassy's long time search for a forever home they're part of the "Lonely Hearts Club" meaning half of their adoption fee has been covered by the WCAS Auxiliary!
