Meet Honey!
Honey initially came to us as a stray in early-February and was never reclaimed by her owner. She was quickly adopted; however, after just a day in her new home, she was returned to WCAS. After a couple weeks in our care, she was adopted, but was once again returned due to her adopter citing that Honey was protecting her toys and food from the other dog in the home.
Upon her return to WCAS, our team worked with Honey and shared that she showed no adverse reactions to be handled. They noted that she does great with all people she interacts with- same with other dogs. During one of our dog play groups here at WCAS, staff shared that Honey is the life of the party! She is not shy and tries to get everyone to interact. She mostly loves to run, but she will engage in wrestle/rough and rowdy play too. It's strongly recommended that Honey is enrolled in training.
Honey would do best in a home whose family is very active and has plenty of time for regular walks, runs, and outside playtime. Honey is now looking for a family to get back to and love forever. She can't wait to meet you, so come to the shelter during our open hours and meet Honey and other pets ready to find new homes.
