Meet Belle!
Belle initially came to us as a stray in April of 2021 and was quickly reclaimed by her owner. Fast-forward almost exactly 4 years later and Belle found herself back at WCAS again as a stray. The morning after her arrival, a member of our kennel staff noticed that Belle was not eating & that her abdomen was distended- there were concerns of pyometra. Our team acted quickly and got Belle to the emergency clinic where she was treated for pyometra and surgery was performed. Upon her return to WCAS, our medical staff monitored and after a few days they gave her the OK for adoption.
Belle is now looking for a family to get back to and love forever. She can't wait to meet you, so come to the shelter during our open hours and meet Belle and other pets ready to find new homes.
