Meet Minnie!
Minnie initially came to us as a surrender due to a change in her owner's housing situation in early-November. After a little over a month in our care, Minnie was adopted; however, after less than a day in her new home, she was returned to our facility after she was involved in a bite incident. Her adopter had Minnie and the other dog in the home on leashes, and one started to lip curl at the other. The adopter reached to grab the Minnie, and Minnie bit her left hand, leaving multiple scratches and one puncture.
Minnie spent her bite quarantine here at Winnebago County Animal Services, and at the end of her bite quarantine, staff deemed her suitable for adoption.
Minnie is now looking for a family to get back to and love forever. She can't wait to meet you, so come to the shelter during our open hours and meet Minnie and other pets ready to find new homes.
