Meet Diamond!
Diamond initially came to WCAS as a stray in February of 2023, and was quickly reclaimed by her owner. Fast-forward almost exactly two years later and Diamond found herself back at WCAS, again as a stray, but this time her own did not show up to reclaim her.
Our team worked with Diamond and shared that she is very easy to get leashed and out of her kennel, and walks very well on the leash. They noted that outside she is a bit timid, but comes around very quickly. They also shared that there were no issues petting or handling her. Our staff also did a dog intro with Diamond and another dog- both dogs were pretty uninterested in each other, both through the fence and in the play yard. Staff noted that no aggression or discomfort was shown- both dogs just existed with one another without issue.
Diamond is now looking for a family to get back to and love forever. She can't wait to meet you, so come to the shelter during our open hours and meet Diamond and other pets ready to find new homes.
